1. Wow! I’ve never seen anything quite like this. Absolute madness to start that many people at once. Looks like a swarm of bugs from a distance…

   It must be good to be as good of a swimmer as you are when getting into this situation!

6. Mass starts are cool!!! You just get sucked along by everyone’s wake. Although it can kind of be like swimming through a mosh pit at a punk rock show.

   Is this from last year when it reached something like 200 degrees or so?

    That is a great video- love the close-ups at the end. What is up with that guy that keeps stopping every other stroke?!

    Also, your last post was great. That is a great attitude going into your taper. Definitely made me realize I need an attitude adjustment myself! We’ll have to compare war stories post-race!;-)
