Hey Chris, just stoppin' by after a loong hiatus. Congrats on the blazing swim split. ...and then I noticed that you weren't riding your Cervélo... and then I scrolled down, and saw the Roo, and then I read April, and the trials and tribulations with the P3C (which I have a mad crush on). Anyhow, sorry it didn't work out with the P3C, but as someone put in your comments, "Better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all." I hope the Roo works out for you.

Good race!

I can relate to being pleased with the 3 minute gaps... being seconds behind someone always leaves a little doubt.

I'm surprised that they don't assign rack positions. All the tri's in North Carolina do... but then again, I guess if youre familiar with the race you could register early or late for a good spot. Hmmm... something to think about!

Also... I say let the faster people go first. I feel better when less people pass me!

7 out of 44 is great - well done. Good race report, particularly about how the run "kind of goes down a small hill and hurts to the left"!!

Not too shabby I'd say! Man, I wish I had your bike split from a bad day on my good day...:) Yeah, I know how you feel about the sprints--I'm not doing one this year and I know I wouldn't do well if I did--feel like I've lost all my "pick-up" in my legs this year, but I gotta remember what this year's all about I guess!

Woo hoo! A great race despite your not wanting to do it and the dead legs on the bike. Just remember a slow bike for you is a fast bike for many of us!
