Thanks for the support and encouragement everyone! Your kind words leading up to the race helped me know why I was here and help to confirm that I was ready.

In the event that any 2004 Ironman Wisconsin volunteers ever read this while browsing the web someday, my biggest thanks to you all. YOU guys are really the folks that make these races so awesome! I tried thanking you for volunteering when I saw you. At the end, I got just too tired to say much of anything.

To all the folks that came out and watched and cheered for us, a big thank you to you too. All your cheering helped get us through to the finish line after a very hard and long day’s work.
