*yawn*
I’m up earlier than normal today. Come to think of it, I’ve been getting up earlier than I thought I would all week. Hopefully, it’s just because my body doesn’t need as much sleep from the lack of training volume and not that it’s going to catch up with me on Sunday.
My family got into town yesterday afternoon so I basically just spent the whole day talking and spending time with them. It was really good to see them again. I just saw them maybe five months ago or so after GCT, but it seems like it’s been longer than that.
I have one last masters swimming “workout”. This is just more of a keep the feel of the water thing more than anything else. I’ll probably bike and run a teeny bit when I get to Madison just to make sure that the bike is working and so that I don’t put my legs in total shock on Sunday (I’m sure they’ll be in shock anyway! But I haven’t run since Monday).
I’m still not as nervous as I thought I’d be. Maybe once I get to the race venue and see all the triathletes around it’ll get me more anxious.
