9 Pounds in 12 Days?
Ok, I know that I recently posted about eating habits and the plan that I used to get down to my goal weight for GCT. I had planned to indulge a little after GCT to reward myself for some eating discipline well done. Little did I know that indulgence would amount to 9 pounds in 12 days?!
I’d like to believe that some of it is water weight and while I believe that some of that may be the case, I’m quite certain that I’ve put on at least half of that in just fat. I guess I probably over did things just a tad. Excess eating while on a transition/recovery week (I swam once last week for under an hour) just doesn’t work. But tomorrow it’s back to the daily grind; an increase in my “annual” hours and preparation for IMMoo starts. I’m a little upset at myself for letting it go as far as it did, but I know that I have the displine to train and eat well again so I’m really not that worried about it. It would have been nice to show up at my GCT race weight for my first local sprint tri a month from now though.
